The claymation adventure Armikrog out in August!

We are very excited to learn that claymation adventure Armikrog will be out on the 18th of August 2015 for PC, Mac and Linux (UPDATE: the release has been postponed until the 8th of September to ensure bugs are minimal and fun is max!

A fascinating stop motion clay animated (claymation) point and click adventure that comes from the creators of the Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood, crowd funded on kickstarter.

The game takes you to the adventures of a space explorer named Tommynaut and his blind little alien talking dog named Beak-Beak as they crash land on a planet and end up locked in a mysterious fortress called Armikrog.

The game is being developed by Pencil Test Studios, an independent game development and animation production studio founded in 2009 by Mike Dietz and Ed Schofield, who previously worked together on Earthworm Jim and The Neverhood. The game has been developed using classic sculpting, set building and clay and puppet fabrication methods combined with stop motion animation. Quite the treat!

The announcement of the release of the game comes with a new game trailer narrated by Rob Paulsen, the voice of Beak-Beak.

This is very exciting and we can’t wait to play with this game!
